Doublelift Bought a Newly Built Los Angeles House – DIRT

Yiliang “Peter” Peng — better known to his millions of Twitch and YouTube fans as Doublelift, after a sleight-of-hand card magic trick he’s perfected — has picked up a modern home in Los Angeles. Records show the 29-year-old content creator, streamer and retired pro gamer originally from Mission Viejo, Calif., paid nearly $4.8 million for his newly constructed digs in a prime Hollywood neighborhood.

One of the most iconic and highest-earning League of Legends competitors of all time, per, Doublelift has amassed over 1.7 million followers on Twitch, and his main YouTube channel has 689,000 subscribers and over 204 million lifetime views. In 2019, he also landed on Forbes’ “30 Under 30” list in both the celebrity and games categories.

Though he’s no longer actively competing, having retired as a pro in November 2020, estimates that he made more than $330,000 through tournament winnings during his 10-year pro career, plus around $209,000 in additional income in the form of contracts, sponsorships and live streams. Earlier this year, Doublelift signed with Loaded, a leading management firm for many of the world’s biggest gaming content creators.

As for Doublelift’s recently acquired home, the boxy stucco and wood-accented structure was completed in 2021, and rests on a compact 0.15-acre parcel secured by walls and a gated driveway that empties out at a glassy two-car garage. Inside, five bedrooms and six baths are filtered across nearly 5,400 square feet on two levels rife with wide-plank oak floors, high ceilings and artistic light fixtures. Walls of Fleetwood sliding glass doors also provide a seamless indoor-outdoor lifestyle.

Main-level highlights include a spacious great room featuring a living room sporting a floor-to-ceiling fireplace with a marble surround and an adjacent dining area, along with a fireside family room that connects to a gourmet kitchen outfitted with sleek cabinetry, top- tier Miele appliances and an eat-in island topped with imported Italian porcelain. Elsewhere is a movie theater, an office and ensuite guest bedroom.

A floating staircase curves its way upstairs, where the posh master retreat offers a fireplace, private balcony, two showroom-style closets, and a spa-inspired bath equipped with dual vanities, a soaking tub and an oversized shower. Three additional ensuite guest bedrooms on this level each have their own wraparound balcony, and there’s also a living/seating area and laundry room.

The amenities continue outdoors, where the backyard hosts a pool and spa surrounded by a wood deck with room for al fresco lounging and dining. Topping it all off: an expansive roof deck boasting a kitchen and barbecue setup, along with sweeping city lights views.

The listing was held by Brian Lane of Madison Residential Realty; Martin Mania of Agencyone replied the buyer.
